Traditional journals are overwhelming, feel like a chore, and are hard to keep up consistently.

Little Memory is an easy to use iOS app that sends you daily reminders to simply write 1 sentence a day, and your memories are saved and sent back to you to reflect on 1 year, 1 month, or 1 week in the future.

By just writing less than 5 minutes a day, you’ll notice patterns in your life and see your growth and progress, giving you perspective and self-awareness of changes in your thoughts and feelings over time.

Each little memory becomes a meaningful anniversary, and you can upgrade to Premium and get unlimited photo uploads, search, nightly backups to Dropbox and Google Drive, and Face/Touch ID lock.

What’s New

Version 0.24.0

Tags! Premium users can now tag memories and see tag streaks. You can either add a tag by typing it directly in a memory like: "So much #gratitude for the friends and family in my life during this Thanksgiving" or by tapping the tag icon under a memory after saving. I like to track which days I drink #coffee to see how many days in a row I've been caffeinated in the mornings. Try it out! I hope you enjoy using Tags, and let me know how you like this great new way to gain more insight into your own journey of self growth.

Journaling system that works for me!

I’ve tried for years and years to keep a journal. I tried various apps and tried using txt files. This app is so simple I don’t “feel bad” writing a sentence or two and being done.

I have a few items to suggest for future updates: 1) offline mode. I was traveling in an area with no wifi / cell service and I wasn’t able to post for those days 2) ability to upload 4 photos. Currently you can only take 4 photos and upload 1 3) ability to add posts more than one day in the past. If I’m in an area with no radio signals my streak is broken.

This is a great app and is will worth both the cost and the yearly subscription.

My favorite iPhone app

I am so grateful for little memory. I’ve been using it for eight years and it’s my favorite app for iPhone. It allows me to jot down a thought, anecdote, or snapshot of the day in a simple and easy format. I get to receive this memory years down the road, as a reminder of good times had, struggles overcome, and triumphs big and small. Each “little memory” is a gift for the present. With 2,000+ little memories saved and counting, I can’t think of any other app that fills me with as much gratitude.

I really enjoy this app and will probably buy the full version when I can afford it. It's a nice no-pressure way to keep a journal.

I would love it if I could go back farther than just yesterday to write a memory. I had a very busy week and never had the energy when I got home to take the few minutes to write anything down, but had an important day (3 days ago) that I would like to remember. As it is now I have no way to update that. I think it would be nice if you could access a calendar basically to select the dates you would like to review.

I would highly recommend this app and can say it is one of the best apps I've downloaded, simply for its significance... It actually does something meaningful-certainly is not a time consuming or time wasting app!
