Come Exploring with Mouse!

This app is a fun and fascinating exploration for all ages, and perfect for revisiting.

The game environment is free roam in that you don’t fade in or out of different areas of a habitat, you walk or climb (or ride or row) to them with no visual breaks, and that’s just part of what makes this game an immersive, fully engaging experience.

Mouse animations are adorable. Leave them standing too long and they will start stretching their legs or scratching their ear, always with a smile. Grabbing the magnifying glass icon prompts Mouse to twirl their own magnifying glass into their paw, ready to explore. Stay underground or pop up to explore above, eventually visiting all four environments.

The cursor icon changes depending on what Mouse is doing and where. (You’ll see!)

Clicking or tapping on the magnifying glass reveals all the items or creatures you can explore and learn more about, underground and above. The artwork, animations, and accompanying ambient sounds and game music are superlative in quality and placement in the game, right down to perfect page-turning sounds when Mouse is reading and the ambient sounds and music so relevant to each area.

Any bug, critter, animal and plant that you can explore in each environment will bring up an equally beautiful info card with its own very clear and fun-to-learn information that is not simplified to any age group. You can quickly learn about each plant’s, animal’s, or other critter’s habitat, and their vital place in the ecosystem, just by dragging the magnifying glass over them. (Did you know moles have their own food pantry?)
