Description

As soon as you’re connected to the Internet, your apps can send whatever they want to wherever they want, unnoticed by you, because all of this happens invisibly under the hood.

Little Snitch Mini makes these network connections visible and puts you back in the driver’s seat!

It’s a lightweight, unobtrusive but yet incredibly powerful network monitoring and firewall tool, allowing you to conveniently watch and analyze all Internet connections made by your apps, and conveniently block unwanted ones with a single mouse click.

It provides exciting insights into the network activity of your computer and shows detailed connection information of all apps and system processes.

Enjoy easy to understand real-time diagrams of network traffic, an animated map view to identify connections into various countries, a traffic history with statistics information about previous connections over the past twelve months, and an extremely easy to use blocklist management – just choose from a curated set of blocklists to instantly isolate your computer from thousands of advertising-, tracking-, or malware-sites.

FREE VERSION

The basic network traffic monitoring functionality, including a real-time connection list, traffic diagrams and the animated map view of worldwide network connections can be used for free.

PREMIUM VERSION

The full feature set, including blocking of connections, extended traffic history time ranges, advanced display and filtering options and more is available as an in-app purchase.

What’s New

Version 1.5

The “Recently Blocked” item shown in the status menu in the menu bar now displays a red badge with the number of recently blocked connections.

Fixed a layout bug in the toolbar of the connection list window.

This version also addresses an issue that could cause the Premium subscription status to get lost temporarily — typically when starting the app immediately (or automatically) after restarting the computer. If you were affected by this bug, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Love the App, but it crashes!

Really tried to keep this app, but crashes everyday has soured my taste. If you can solve the periodic crashing, I'm in for Pro.

Thank you for your report! Could you please contact our technical support through our website and send us a corresponding crash log? We would need to analyze it to determine what went wrong on your system.
Update from today, September 13: The just released version 1.4.1 should fix the crashes you reported.

It works great ... but only when it wants to.

This app is an "easy mode" for application-level firewall and blocking. It's nice to see when apps are "calling home" (or calling China) without your consent.

What is lousy about this app is that every month or so, for an unknown reason, and an undetermined amount of time, it will disable blocking, indicating that it's a "Premium feature". Guess what? I paid for the app, so I am a "Premium" user. I try to turn on blocking, and "Go Preimum" window appears, and the spinning wheel of death (or at least, ennui) will entertain you while the app fails at "Connecting to the Mac App Store..."

Terrible support, paid for yearly subscription that doesn't work

The app is great when it works. I paid for a yearly subscription via apple. Little snitch doesn't recognize it, and keeps asking me to purchase it again. Tried restoring the purchase, reinstalling.. nothing.

Support is only via email/twiter/mastodon. You write to them, you get answers in days.. 10 days now and counting and no response. Apple tells you, contact the app developer....

Its a pitty, the sofware is useful, and it blocks quite a lot of undersirable stuff that even the firewall lets through.

Developer Response ,

Sorry for your hassles. We’ve addressed the ”Restore Purchase” issue in version 1.2.1, so it should now work as expected.
