Ratings and Reviews
Has been a great app BUT...
I’ve used this app for a while now and it’s been great until that last update. Now the mic from the camera doesn’t stay on when you switch to a video file so you can talk over the video then switch back to you on camera. I’m not going to knock down my rating of the app because I’m hoping Teradek will fix this problem. Until then, the app is useless to me.
Works well but not for beginners
There are many features that make this valuable for mobile streaming but one thing I hate is that there are so many useless/unnecessary options for your iPhone camera but they DON'T have a mirror/flip option! Additionally the twitch chat feature is pretty useless, it doesn't overlay on your screen in a meaningful way, you have to swipe down losing screen real
Estate to reveal the chat button then tap on the chat button each time there is a new message and when you're in that chat window you can't do anything else. If you close it out you can't see chat. Terrible feature not worth paying for. Scene transitions and overlays are what makes this nice
Why does image stabilization turn off when using the zoom feature
This is a decent app when a person wants to broadcast higher quality video via rtmp. However, I use this on an iPhone X and whenever I zoom in on something, the app turns off the image stabilization and it has to be manually turned back on every time. Why? Also, it used to allow pinch zoom but the latest version doesn’t appear to let that happen anymore. Unless I’m missing out on how to do that.
