My kids LOVE Apps. It's definitely a completely different life than how I grew up and Apps are a part of their daily lives. I didn't even have a cell phone until my twenties and now at six and four my kids are schooling me on how to use it, play games and more!They always love the chance to try a new app so they were excited about Live Colors, especially my four year old Paige who is my artsy, creative type. I played it first just to get the hang of it and see what it was all about.I was impressed by it's simplicity because that means that my kids can do it themselves - yay! You basically just pick which drawing you want to use, put the colors in the painting palette and use your finger as your paintbrush. Easy peasy!There are tons of pictures to choose from and when you are done, it saves them all for you!What my kids really liked and I thought was adorable was that the pictures would become interactive and things would move on the picture. For example, on the balloons, they float across the screen. I liked the voice directions and affirmations for what they had done. It would say things like "great" and "you did it." When a drawing was finished, trumpets would sound and stars would go across the screen. It gives little ones such a great sense of accomplishment.I kind of thought it was a little young for my six year old BUT he figured out things that Paige and I didn't. For example, if you combine two colors like blue and red, you create violet! They can mix and match their own colors! And also very important, you can SAVE their drawings! Little ones love to see their pictures displayed on the fridge and this is an online version of that!The music is really fun and festive and makes me feel like I'm on a summer cruise or something! It's the perfect backdrop for summer. Live Colors has been great for my kids and that makes me a happy mommy!

My 2 and 7 year old love this app. They love being able to mix colors to see what colors they can create and then use. I just wish there was a button to erase all the coloring pages as it is quite tedious to have to go into each one and clear the image.

My 3 year old daughter loves this app, I've caught myself doing the drawings. It's a great way for them to build confidence, creativity & how to mix colors to make other colors. This app is awesome! I can't wait to see what else they add.

Great app for entertaining your kids and teaching them colors. Adorable and fun graphics. My 3-year-old niece is obsessed with coloring. Hope they'll be adding more pics to the library as she grows up.

I love the way you can mix colors, and the built-in suggestions/fill-in-the-blanks painting (with animated success) is super-cool! I can't wait to show this to my son. :D
