Been using it for 3 or 4 months now since we cannot attend sons hockey games or practices in the rinks in person still. It has been buffering, and also giving error message where you have to exit out, refresh, and launch again. For what we pay each month to allow only ONE live session at a time (if either parent stays home only the one who took kid can watch live) I think is a joke. The App should work way better than it does and it’s not my WiFi as others have same issue. For what we are paying allow at least 2 to access live and get it working correctly. I may update my rating later but for now they have a monopoly for sure. If you want to keep me after rinks allow spectators then price has to come down and/or better allow for more than one live session.
Still deciding if we like it
We are in Massachusetts. One week a rink is allowing spectators, the next weekend, zero spectators are allowed. Our whole team has been relying on LiveBarn. I spent most of today’s game watching my screen buffer. The audio was not in sync with the video. A lot of times the screen was completely frozen. It was not my Wi-Fi. We use a team group chat and all of the other parents were having the exact same issues. Kind of stinks not to be able to see the game in person. It stinks a lot more when you’re paying for an app that doesn’t work for most of the game. Hopefully these bugs can be worked out. I don’t think they’ll be letting us back in anytime soon to watch in person.
Allow more than one device to log on at the same time!
I like being able to watch my son play hockey when I couldn’t go to the game. I don’t like that only one person can watch at a time. Especially now when no one can go in and watch the games in person. I wish the membership allowed for at least two people to watch at the same time. This would allow my husband to watch I. The parking lot and I could watch from home. I’d also like to be able to watch from my smart tv.
