In the history of all the apps that have been created and design, there isn’t one that has brought more joy to me! Having access to PHISH catalogue and access to concerts within an hour of them playing continues to bring happiness day after day!

The Playlists feature is comically bad. No logic for sorting (August 5 after August 13? Sure!), no filtering. And try starting the app in your car to play offline playlists when you're actually offline - you can't because you can't login, BECAUSE YOU'RE OFFLINE. This app has been around for more than a decade, rakes cash, and still can't be bothered to make the app better in any way shape or form for YEARS now.

across 3 different laptops, across windows 10, 11, and macos, across safari, chrome, fibrefox and edge, i just can't get it to play continuously. it'll play a couple songs in a show then stop. sometimes it'll randomly jump to a different song in a different show. i've asked on reddit and submitted some sort of 'help me!!!' to livePhish+, but crickets. i have finally found a solution that works: the ios app aircasting to my macbook. for $200/yr i'm expecting better :-(

I gotta start off my saying that I have been a subscriber for years and I’ve seen this app come a long way in that time. I very rarely have any technical issues with and I love being able to listen to phish shows and follow the tour using this app. Just a few feature suggestions I think would make this app even better are 1) Please get rid of the status wheel and use a status bar instead while listening to tracks. Scrubbing to a certain point in a track is very difficult on the wheel, especially if you’re trying to get to a specific point in a 20+ minute track. 2) Please, please add a native CarPlay interface for browsing the library through the screen in the car instead of having to pick up my phone and do it while driving. There’s a lot to go through on this app and it’s not the safest thing to browse in the car. I use this app in the car a lot and not only would it make the app safer but it would also make the experience more streamlined. Overall though I absolutely can not live without this app and I praise the developers for all the amazing work. Keep it up and I can’t wait to see what features you decide to add in the future.

The concept of the livephish app is wonderful: you have access to all the purchases you have made (for me that’s 100s of shows) as well as streaming the last show. It also supports watching a live phish video, which I’ve actually been able to do ONCE. I haven’t seen my actual stash in years - I’m not sure when it disappeared, but it is tremendously frustrating to not have access to it, especially when I have told all my friends years ago to buy it for that reason alone (as well as actually buying the downloads). People who steal the music now look like geniuses and those who actually buy the music to get legitimate access to it through this app are the fools - nice lesson, eh? What else? The gaps between songs described are at least 5 seconds which kills the jam - time to maybe buffer a few seconds, fellows? I have hopes that now the website was finally redesigned that we might get an update here, but I won’t hold my breath. What a waste of great potential.

It seems to me this app is getting a bad rap because of a perception vs. reality situation, caused by poor communication, rather than actual bugs or technical issues. The app operates smoothly, based on the brief time i've been using it. However, the product description in the app store is misleading, causing confusion for the consumer. The user interface does not alleviate this confusion. Essentially the issue is that only some of the content is free to stream (a "featured" show - presumably the most recent; a rotating limited selection of archived shows; "my stash" - already owned content and live phish radio). The rest of the livephish catalog is available for preview (via audio clips) and purchase (via an online purchase mechanism based on a good ol consumerism paradigm). The app description, somewhat deceiving in it's language, implies that ALL of the content is available upon purchase of the app. Took me a few minutes to figure this out but i am now basking in the glow of technology's full spectrum of wondrous light, as i listen to tonight's oklahoma city show (without issue), while writing this review from the comfort of my Portland, OR home.
