Excellent for Stock management

This is a great app for stock management.
The only thing I would change would be adding the option to add species as well as the ability to flag all of a specific category of stock and move their designated pasture at once.
I rotate pasture and when I do, I move the entire herd. The way it’s currently set I have to change each individual animal setting. That can be time consuming with several hundred head.
Currently I raise several different types of stock however there seems to only be a set of specific animals available to select.
Overall, very pleased!!!

Thanks for the feedback!
There are two ways to perform bulk movements:
First, from the dashboard, click on the action button against the pasture name and select 'Move Mob'.
Second, from the dashboard, push and hold the 'Events' button and then select 'Moved'. When you create an event this way you can use the animal searcher to select the specific animals you want to move. Also take a look at the 'Search Class' option in the animal filter, you may find that will help select the groups you're after.
As mentioned, we don't have a way for users to create species but if you email us at support@livestocked.com we can add the request to the list.

Great app

I have used both the free and paid versions. If you are just managing for pleasure the free app is great. I breed and sell Boer goats. I have used the paid version, this is my third year. The first year trialed this against quickbooks. That may be a wacky comparison for some. Granted quickbooks has rich features but it didn’t apply to what I needed. In this app I can track pastures, animals, supplies, how much I feed and when. It imports my goats pedigrees. I can treat a pasture when I’m giving vaccinations or an animal if something is going on with that animal.

If you’ve updated your inventory when you treat animals it is deducted from inventory.

I track all my revenues and expenses for taxes at the end of the year. The app will export to excel and you have all the categories to align with farm tax forms.

If you ever have an issue even if it is user error the developer responds right away and helps you. I really can’t say enough positive about this app. I have it in the field with me. My goat vet had her annual visit and asked me a question I pulled it right up. She asked for the app, now she uses it at her farm and recommended it on Facebook to all her clients.

I’m sure there is one thing I could come up with maybe to be able to separate expenses for horses vs goats. It may be in a higher version but I have made my own work around for it.
5 stars all the way!

Love Livestocked!

I’ve been using the free version for a few months and it’s really great for keeping track of matings, medicating, sales/purchases, etc. I plan to buy the subscription to access the additional features. Just a few things I’d ask to be different so far -

I don’t have internet access at the barn, and the app usually won’t let me even open it without because it wants me to sign in again. I have to note what I do and then enter into the app when I get back to the house.

The option to add more species or at least have cats & dogs on there, so I can track my barn cats & LGDs. I also recommended the app to a friend who runs sled dogs, and she would love a real Dog option under Species.

I can’t figure out how to add an Event for hoof trimming (I keep goats & sheep). I see an assessment section for hooves but not anything for trimming specifically. Not a big deal as I’ve just been adding it as an Event Note, but it would be useful to have.

Thanks for making part of the app available for free!
