Window on Dynamic Weather Conditions
I do not take my time to look out the window in my acoustically treated building. Additionally, my office seat is approximately 85 degrees relative to the nearest outside window. As such, it has been nice to notice changes in loca weather (throughout the seasons) without leaving my seat. The recent updated scenry is quite stunning and adds more context to my days at the computer. I am a self-employed healthcare worker with many hours writing reports and documentation. The time of day and weather changes and I am alerted when inclement conditions arise unexpectedly—especially with wintry driving. The app has received lots of compliments across the years.
Works great. No bugs.
This app works well and seems bug free and stable. It has many customization settings, which is nice.
I tested the active wallpaper, which is nice, but I would prefer that (1) the movement were slower; maybe have a preference for this; (2) the ability to select which wallpapers show and which don't; and (3) when not on auto, switch only on the preset time, like every 10 minutes; don't switch when operating other controls in the app.
That being said, this app is definitely worth the asking price, even considering that I don't use the active wallpaper.
Does the job as advertised
The animated backgrounds are very nice. I like the banner that gives the current conditions could be better if it updated without having to move the cursor over the icon for the app. I purchased this along with the radar live pro app they are a good combination and provide all the weather information I need. The every 2 hour detailed forecast is very useful when planning when rain will show up at the farm. I have had no problems with the application it works well on my IMAC.
