Refreshed Home Screen widgets make watched trail conditions easier to read at a glance. This update also improves widget data sharing and includes maintenance fixes. Conditions remain modeled estimates; always follow local trail guidance.

Previously loaded trail readings stay available offline, with the model time clearly labeled. See what each reading uses, how fresh it is, and where the forecast ends. Choose metric units and a 24-hour clock, and carry a selected chart time into Ride Planner. Add a Home Screen widget for watched trails or use the Check my watched trails Shortcut. Chart navigation, large-text support, and the iPad layout are improved.

Meet the new conditions chart. Explore recent conditions and the forecast in one view, then tap for details. On supported networks, see how exposed and shaded ground differ. We've also refreshed the trail lists and ride planner, improved chart panning and labels, and made first launch clearer.

New with Loam Pro: pick a ride day, compare nearby trail networks across a five-day outlook, and find the most promising dirt. The planning flow is clearer at a glance. The free basics remain: current conditions, basic outlooks, and one watched network with a ready-to-ride alert.

Fixed an update bug that could quietly leave the app days behind. If Loam recently looked or behaved like it was stuck a week in the past, that was this, and force quitting or reinstalling would not have cleared it. It is resolved. The post-ride check-in has a new answer: perfect, tacky hero dirt. Use it when the trail was better than merely rideable. Rider answers are what we check the model against, so that one is worth the tap.

DUSTY is a new verdict. A green light plus an active dry advisory used to read as PRIME, which sent riders out to blown out, loose dirt and called it perfect. Now it says DUSTY, and the gauge says what that means. Tester feedback drove this one. Also in this release: Loam links from a message or the web now open straight to the trail in the app, a new splash screen, a smoother first run, and the usual round of speed and stability work.

This update brings smarter alerts and a more polished trail view. • Smarter ride alerts. When several of your trails turn prime at once, you now get one clean notification instead of a stack of them, with quiet overnight hours and a daily limit so you are not pinged at 2am. • Fixed false "prime" alerts. Overnight dew and fog could briefly make a dry trail read as freshly dry the next morning and fire a bogus alert. Now a notification means a real change. • Condition history. Each trail shows its recent condition trend, so you can see how the last couple of weeks have gone at a glance. • Cleaner trail list. Removed duplicate networks so search results are tidier. • Stability and reliability improvements under the hood.
