Handy, Glad to see new features in the works

The description says it. If you’re one digging through logs with text editors all the time searching certain this, this is really helpful. Just being able to have multiple color highlights is the best.
There are some things missing that are very essential, but at least it’s good to see that a tail functionality is in the works.
I would give this 5 stars if it already had the ability to resize text or change font settings (essential!). I’m also hoping for a tabbed interface, and the ability to just drag a file into a window instead of having to use Open every time. Those things would make this five star.

This has rapidly become my go-to for examining log files. It’s incredibly powerful to be able to filter a log to show, for example, “All restarts in BLUE, all errors in RED, and everything related to file xyz.txt in YELLOW”. The application is fast for large files and attractive to read.

I’m excited to see additional features are coming. My top requests would be the ability to save searches and additional documentation or examples about how the different search types combine … they are just in a list (rather than, say, nested AND or OR clauses) so it sometimes takes a little fumbling around to get the exact view I want.

Not worth it for in-depth analysis

This application may help for simple analysis, but not worth it for in-depth analysis. There is no simplier way to specify information needed, but to type it in, and doesn’t offer for easy seperation among various logs that may have similar names. Furthermore, if you try to filter a huge amount of data using the filters, even with color coding they stop working.
