Ratings and Reviews
Simple and Effective
Personally don’t need a lot of frills. Interface is simple but not buggy or annoying. Easily visualize what habits you’ve successfully executed on a day to day basis.
I like choosing between measurable tasks (choose the unit and the “at least” or “at most” values), and the “yes or no” tasks (e.g. did I fill my water bottle at night).
Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there are some navigation tweaks that COULD happen but not necessary unless you’re into that sort of thing. Would have given it 4.5 if I could.

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback, I really appreciate it
I appreciate the app, but there are bugs
First of all, I really appreciate that the app is available and that's it's free and no ads. Thank you!!
I do want to bring up a few issues I've noticed and a suggestion.
1) When I go to edit a habit name and place my cursor in the middle, as soon as I start typing, it jumps to the end. I can then delete what it tacked on the end and move to where I want, but that initial behavior is weird and annoying.
2) Changing the frequency to anything other than "every day" requires you to enter a number, which makes sense, but what doesn't make sense is why it gives me the Missing Information "please enter a value for X" error when a number is there. I think it's only the first time you set up a frequency that isn't "every day", but you have to close the error and hit done a second time for it to recognize the X field is filled out.
3) Can a search option please be added the emoji selection area? And/or an option to see the emoji bigger by long-pressing?
4) Is it possible to manually arrange the items within groups?
Developer Response ,
Text cursor jumps to end when editing habit name:
I couldn’t replicate this issue, but I agree it sounds annoying. I’ll look into what might be causing it.
Frequency setting shows “Missing Information” error:
This likely happens because the app checks the input too quickly—before the number updates in the background. Tapping “Done” again works because by then, the value has synced. I’ll work on improving this flow.
Emoji picker: search & long press:
Search is now added! For long press—what would you like it to do? Zoom in, or show a description?
Manually arrange items within groups:
Yes! That’s already in the plan.
Feel free to reach out via email if you’d like to discuss more in detail.
The best grid habit tracker
This is a crowded space so I really appreciate the developer putting together a clean well designed and full featured habit tracking app. I especially appreciate that it supports weekly goals with variable amounts of completion towards the goal per day. That is not a feature I have found in any other habit tracking app.
Developer Response ,
Thank you so much for using Loop!
