LooperSonic is a multi-track audio looper and recorder that will take your loops to the next level. Use it like a loop pedal to make loops, and then arrange those loops into complete songs with cut, copy, trim, paste, reverse, and undo/redo.

Record a loop by tapping the record button at the beginning and the end of the loop just as you would with a loop pedal. Or start the metronome and set your loop to count in for hands free looping. Change the loop points on the fly while recording new loops without stopping playback. You can also do straight recordings without looping.

Use cut, copy, trim, and paste to structure your loops and recordings into a song. Turn a loop into a backing track for a verse by duplicating a loop for a few bars. Merge tracks to make room for more recordings. Undo and redo recordings and edits up to 100 times.

When you change the tempo, the pitch changes along with it, like a record player. Use this to make a guitar sound like a bass, or to sing out of your range. Along with the reverse feature you can make some pretty cool effects.

Get audio in and out using Inter-App audio, AudioBus, and/or audio copy/paste. Share individual clips or a whole song mix with ease. Audio can be copied from song to song. Or a selection of clips can be mixed down and shared without stopping playback.

LooperSonic makes loops the same way a loop pedal does and just like a loop pedal, it requires precise timing to make a good loop. All sounds in LooperSonic are created by the user. For the best experience, make sure to wear headphones.

Finally a “normal” looper!!!

Finally a simple looper that works like a standard hardware looper pedal! Most of the other looper apps have all sorts of features that are confusing and half the time don’t work right. Why do a lot of them not have a simple stop command and a simple way to start the loop over? This is cool because you can easily record something and stop the loop easy and reset is to the beginning. I also like that this supports split screen on my iPad Pro, now I can have a chord chart and lyrics on one side and LooperSonic on the other side and I can see where I’m at in a loop it case I want to add to it, like for instance, recording a rhythm guitar part and then overdubbing a beatbox type drum track. This has eight tracks and that is plenty, anything more and you’re just creating an audio salad of noise.
I would give this 5 stars but it is missing one huge feature, there is no way to connect it to a midi or bluetooth pedalboard for hands free operation, this would be perfect otherwise. I have found a workaround for this, I had a page turning pedal that has suction cup things that mimic a finger touch on screen to hit the buttons on the looper, might have to invest in a Remofinger pedalboard as my understanding is that is how it works also, either way I can go to a gig with my guitar, iPad, and the “suction cup” pedal and I’m good to go, well done!!!

Cool one

Some issues are me I guess, digging the looper/DAW functionality (time line editing + easy loopage)

Great App = Fun to use + active developer

I am giving this app 5 stars because the developer is so responsive and engaged in the own product. The app is a cool creative tool. The work flow is easy to get into and you can make some cool loops in a very short amount of time. Being an iOS thing the developer has been careful with the UI so you can have the right functions in the right place. I was looking for an app that I could get creative with when I had a few moments. This app is that and more. If your looking for a fun looping/sounscaping app to keep in your pocket, it’s likely this one. Support this developer, get the app!
