Lorex netHD Stratus enables you to connect to Lorex netHD NVRs featuring the exclusive Lorex Stratus Connectivity service on your iPhone. Lorex Stratus Connectivity allows you to view your cameras on your mobile device using a simple 3 step setup process. Simply download the app, scan the QR code on the top of your NVR and enter the password to connect to your system. No complicated port forwarding or network configuration is required.
The app allows you to:
•View multiple cameras live
•View recorded video saved on your NVR
•Save snapshots directly to your device
Notes:
•iOS v4.0 and higher supported
•High-speed Internet access and a router (not included) are required. Please note that an upload speed of 1Mbps is required for remote video access.
•Connect your NVR to your router using an Ethernet cable.

Needs work!

I just moved to a new home and the previous owner had the system installed. Setting up for remote viewing was easy but the app is very slow on playback. I have super high speed internet and the playback takes forever to view a few seconds of footage. The features on the app are a bit confusing since there is no description as to what they do. You just have to play with it and figure out. Also i don’t seem te get notification when it detects motion. I’m glad i can see my house when I’m away but how do i know when something is happening if i don’t get notified? Even if i go back to check the footage, it’s still going to take forever to play it back one by one. The playback timeline only shows you a little line so you don’t even know which one is what?? Would be nice to show a small animated thumbnail on the timeline so you can choose. Will this be improved or do i just have an old system?? I have 6 cameras but I’m considering replacing them for Nest or Arlo.

Cameras drop to frequently.

I had this system now for 5+ years. From installed date system has always dropped camera connections. You never know what camera is working. Reboot solves the problem for awhile but not that long. Remote access should at least give you a remote reboot option on the app. I have 8 cameras and not often do I see all functioning properly. App seams to work well. I don’t believe my issues are the app. I would not recommend the system I have installed.

Finally works again

The mobile version stopped working two years ago for ATT and many wifi. Called technical support many times but no use. Now after upgrade I know it was 32 bits security issue, which did not fit the minimal security requirement for many internet providers. Anyway, it is well overdue but solves the problem. I was planning to replace the whole system with other brand but now can stay with this old version for a while.

After several days of using the app I found that there is a bug in this app. It need restart the app every time which mean that you have to quit the app completely first.
