Oh my god it works with streaming apple music?
Everything works A-okay except when streaming albums and leaving this app in the back, the first track never scrobbles for some odd reason.
You get better results with scrobbling if you download the the music and play it from inside the app.
This app is the reason why I'm not updating to iOS 11 if I'm being honest
Everything I’ve wanted
This app has everything I’ve wanted. I’m experiencing a little bug though in the songs tab. I press a song to play and another song plays instead. Other than that this app has all the visuals and interface to feel the music your playing!
Persistent bugs, removed functionality
I’ve used Loud since it was first released, and before that, its predecessor SmartPlayer.
While I’m grateful the author is attempting to fix long-standing bugs (some of which were even holdovers from SmartPlayer!), removing the playlist functionality is pretty close to a death blow.
I cannot update to a version of the app that removes one of the key features I use. I’d far rather the “play after next” button be removed (which just crashed things) than playlist support be removed (which allowed for editing of the current play list, with removing and rearranging of tracks - making the “play after next” button unnecessary anyway).
While the author has always be pleasant, the actual technical support has always been woefully lacking, and this update makes the app all but pointless.
I recommend you look elsewhere.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
