Looking for the best listening experience for your iTunes Library? Look no further than LouderLogic – the Advanced Audio Player.
LouderLogic features include:
- Professional audio enhancement with patented ALX technology
- 4-band parametric EQ with Spectrum Animation
- Dynamic interactive Play Queues
LouderLogic brings the fullness you crave out of every song, using patented Audio Level eXtension (ALX) technology by McDSP. LouderLogic minimizes volume fluctuations between songs while maximizing all the musical details the artist intended you to enjoy. Simply put, you’ll get more from your music!
With the McDSP 4-band parametric equalizer, you get the highest quality interactive EQ for your iOS device, along with the ability to customize and tweak to your heart's content. Easily drag the curves to control boost and cut, and use two fingers to adjust the Q (bandwidth). Spectrum Animation shows you what your music 'looks like' so you can EQ like a pro.
Play Queues let you modify what's coming up next at any time, without interrupting your current track.
Adjust the crossfade time between songs from 1 to 30 seconds.
“If you don’t have LouderLogic I don’t know why you’re even listening to music.” – Chaka Blackmon, Producer/Songwriter for Christina Aguilera, CeCe Winans, MTV and Disney.
“LouderLogic is perhaps the most impressive audio enhancement app I have used.” – Kit Eaton, New York Times.
Please note that while LouderLogic does play back DRM protected music, it cannot apply ALX enhancement to DRM protected audio. ALX enhancements cannot be applied to music that is still "in the cloud" in iTunes Match, but can be applied once downloaded to your device.
Requires iOS 8.0+

Ratings and Reviews
Pretty darn good, but...
.... it often crashes within the first song played. I don’t know if that’s due to the fact that I’m loading a pretty large library into it every time I open the app or what, but I’d love to get some feedback from the app creator of this. Also, I have fiddled with the start and stop of certain songs in my iTunes library. Apparently, when played through this app that start and stop is not recognized.
Still My Favorite Music App
I’ve been using the LouderLogic music app for years and it’s still the best MP3 player app I’ve found - and I’ve tried a lot of them. The audio processing does a great job of boosting the quieter parts of songs making them much easier to listen to in a noisy environment, such as at work or in the car, without turning the volume up as loud. Also it helps level the volume among songs to some degree, but if they are excessively out of the normal range songs may still be too loud or too quiet. And the best part is the audio processing makes music sound great, much better than the Apple iPhone music app.
As much as I love the app though, there are a couple of negatives. First, I have a lot of music and the app can sometimes be slow starting up and REALLY slow to load new songs I’ve added from syncing with iTunes - which is strange because it’s the only music app I’ve tried that has this problem. Also, the app seems to crash frequently if I am using my phone in airplane mode. And finally I should note this app is for people who have a music library - it is NOT for streaming!
Great app! Thanks!
Single Best Music Player, Period
This is simply the best app you can own for your music, and I am sure that Apple wishes they had developed this themselves. Not only does this do a beautiful job leveling your music volume, it does it in a way that is natural sounding and not artificial. It will make your songs sound fuller and richer, and you can leave your volume control as it is.
I wish there were a way to save files through this program so that when we listen to our songs on other devices such as an original iPod or MP3 player, we could enjoy the benefits of this program. I also wish we could adjust the size of the fonts of the music titles so we could see more of them on the screen. Still, this is a must-have app which I highly recommend.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
