I find this app very impressive. Navigating is easy, intuitive, and the layout is clean. No crashing or broken links (even to external sites). The imbedded AI is very insightful. Love the face scans to track progress or make it easier to understand what isn’t working. Wonderful product recommendations with links for easy purchase. Love the ability to filter product suggestions to fit different budgets. My only suggestions would be to add the ability to identify missed problem areas on face scans (due to poor lighting, etc.), a slider to fine tune suggested products based on how much you’re comfortable budgeting for skincare, the ability to save all products owned to your account, and be able to mark which products you used in the daily log. Overall, very useful and informative app.

I think the idea for the app is pretty cool! The way the app ACTUALLY is though seems like a cash grab that was made in a hurry. When you look at the page for a product, it will have a score on how well it suits the user, however, it gives different percentages depending on how you get to that page. It gives a lower score to products that I search, even if it’s in my recommended routine with a much higher score. (ex: It recommends COSRX’s Hydrium Watery Toner to me at 82%, then if I search it, it gives me a 62% fit.) The app crashes often and the face scans seem strange to me. The review does not take into account the 3D scan it just took of my face, just the initial picture. I don’t understand the point of this other than theatrics or training the AI for something else other than the usage of the app. I also don’t appreciate that the website I used to sign up for the app promises a report of some kind, but does not deliver in the app. I really regret paying for this, I don’t think it’ll do anything for me in the next month.
Great App Don’t Love the Cost

The app is great but there are a few items that I think they can improve on and it’s expensive for what you get.I wish you could get specifics on why a product is supposed to be good for your skin but also to put in additional detail in what your skin needs more. I followed the recommendation on a moisturizer and it was 96% recommended for my skin concerns. I had been using one that was ranked in the low 80% range. I got the new one in started using it and I don’t like it. Some of my major concerns are hydration but also how something wears with makeup. The new moisturizer pills with makeup and the moisture doesn’t last as long as the moisturizer ranked lower for me. Since I can’t add those details to tailor the products more, I feel like the app doesn’t justify the cost.If anything get the cheapest version, get the info you need and make sure to cancel before you’re charged a higher price.

As someone who is always on the lookout for the best skincare products, I've tried numerous apps, but Pora has outshined them all, especially Yuka.The most impressive feature of Pora is its ability to scan skincare products with incredible accuracy. Unlike Yuka, which requires a barcode, Pora allows me to simply scan screenshots from online stores and receive a detailed analysis of the product's ingredients and effectiveness. This has saved me so much time and effort in researching products!Additionally, Pora offers a summary of reviews and a price comparison feature, making it even easier to find the best deals on the highest quality skincare products. This app truly has it all!But wait, there's more! Pora also includes a Face Scanner feature, which allows me to analyze changes in my skin over time. This has been incredibly helpful in tracking the progress of my skincare routine and ensuring that I'm using the most effective products for my unique skin needs.In conclusion, Pora is an absolute must-have app for anyone serious about their skincare. It's user-friendly, comprehensive, and truly a game changer in the world of skincare apps. I can't recommend it enough!
