Loóna: Cozy Puzzle Games 4+

This app (well, the first puzzle anyway) is absolutely beautiful! There is no challenge to completing the puzzle, just a calm and relaxing experience. I was ready to drop $20 (a year) until I saw it was $20/month! I fully support developers making money for their apps; however, as others have mentioned, this seems overpriced. If the dev(s) feel $20/month reflects their efforts to build and expand on the app than so be it. Unfortunately, I just can’t justify enjoying the app at that price point. I may check back later to see if a more reasonable price becomes available (especially a lifetime option). Best of luck.

When I first started with this app there were approximately a dozen puzzles and they all seemed very charming. So I ponied up the ten bucks to subscribe, hoping that would mean another dozen puzzles the next month. However, I’m all done with the original dozen puzzles—which were all as charming as the first—and I’m wondering what my subscription fee is paying for. Will there be more puzzles, how many are coming each month? Please clarify ASAP or I will need to cancel my “subscription.” Thanks.

I love this experience so much, and I want the developers to succeed and continue being able to create content like this. However, for a seemingly finite amount of content, and with no communication or clarity on future offerings or upcoming content to justify the price, a subscription that costs almost 3 times as much as a subscription to most streaming services, (which in turn offer thousand of hours of entertainment content), is in my opinion wildly disproportionate to the value of what you get with this game.

I would encourage the developers to consider other methods of creating and demonstrating value, such as a one-time price to unlock all existing puzzles, and any future content bundled separately. Or a much lower-priced subscription option for those that prefer.

The current pricing of $20 a month, or $240 per year, for your game aimed at a niche market of users who already invested in an expensive product, comes across as out-of-touch, alienating, and borderline predatory.

I am very disappointed that more people won’t choose to experience what you have to offer, it really does seem like something special.
