Description
The LTC Explorer app provides comprehensive information about nature preserves and reserves near you that are most suitable to visit for outdoor recreation. Information provided includes the preserve size, water frontage, length of trails, recommended activities, and interactive maps. An additional highly attractive feature is that the user can easily see what nature preserves are in close proximity to their current location. The interactive map will allow them to know exactly how far the preserve is from them and how to get there. LTC services five counties across northern lower Michigan: Emmet, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Mackinac and Chippewa counties.

The LTC is a well-respected organization that seeks to preserve public access to significant tracts of land in our area. This deep and über-comprehensive app will help you locate and enjoy some truly fantastic places in northern Michigan. And should you feel compelled to aid the Conservancy in their worthwhile cause, it plugs you right in to their organization. A gorgeous app that will only be surpassed by the lands it helps you enjoy!
I am addicted to hiking in northern Michigan - This app is perfect!!
Some of my favorite trails are on Little Traverse Conservancy land. This app is perfect for me to find the ones near me, and includes trail maps once I get there.
I actually found two near my house that I didn't know about. I will be checking them this weekend!

Fabulous App
If you live or visit Northern Michigan this app is a must. Little Traverse Conservancy has long protected and shared the beauty of the area. Now it expertly guides you through it, a must for everyone visiting the preserves and a great invitation for those new to the hike. I am a long time summer resident and learned so much on the first trail guide I used, simply indispensable.
