Lucid - Verify Anything
Fact, AI & Scam Checker
Free · In‑App Purchases
Don't trust everything you see online. Before you believe it, share it or buy it – verify it with Lucid.
Lucid helps you verify news, social media posts, screenshots, websites, images and videos using evidence from multiple reliable sources. Lucid explains the evidence behind every claim and delivers a clear verdict, helping you make informed decisions before you trust, share or buy.
Four checks, one app:
• Is this true? – news, claims, health tips and stories
• Is this worth buying? – products, online shops, deals and ads
• Is this AI? – signs of AI in images and videos
• Is this a scam? – texts, emails, DMs and suspicious offers
What you can verify:
• News articles and breaking stories
• Social media posts and videos from TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook and more
• Screenshots

Why Lucid is different:
Lucid doesn't just tell you what to think, it shows you why. By analysing multiple sources, highlighting supporting and conflicting evidence, and explaining how it reached its verdict, Lucid helps you separate evidence from speculation.
Whether you're checking a viral post, breaking news, a screenshot, an AI-generated image, a suspicious message or a product claim, Lucid gives you the context you need to decide for yourself.
Before you believe it, share it or buy it – verify it with Lucid.

Ratings & Reviews
Check with Lucid, right from your share sheet. It now sits in the top row, so you can check a link or photo from almost any app in one tap.
Private and age-restricted Instagram posts can now be checked. Just sign in to Instagram inside Lucid once. Your password goes to Instagram, never to us.
"Is this AI?" now looks at the first few slides of a carousel, not just the cover, and tells you if only some of them are AI.
You can paste Instagram, TikTok and Facebook post links straight into Link now.
And new users get a fresh welcome, with a short video on sharing to Lucid.
Plus bug fixes and small improvements.
