Quick response, great resolution of seating issue

My husband and I made a late booking on a flight from SAN to FRA, and online seat choices did not give us two seats together. My chat request was answered within 1 minute, and new seats together assigned within another minute. Great!

Nice person not good information

Agent was fast on the chat and very nice. I was looking for special fare information for humanitarian aid teams working in refugee camp. His answer was they had no special fares for this but I should try their website or travel agencies??? I felt like if its on your website you should know about it. So really go no assistance for this question. If its no that’s ok but don’t tell me to search some place else.

Why a stand-alone app!?

This app is emblematic of Lufthansa disastrous IT ‘capabilities’. Why does a stand-alone app exist for Service? There is another stand-alone app for entertainment. And none of them are any good. They try to make it look nice on the surface but the app has no capability to do anything. You want to change your frequent flyer number?! - you need to call. Please Lufthansa- look at United, copy their app and start over. Whatever you are doing right now is so poor, it really doesn’t pass as an app.
