I lied to my parents, dropped out of university, and isolated myself. I didn't lack willpower, my brain had simply rewired itself around gaming's perfect dopamine loops.
When I finally quit at 23, stopping wasn't the hard part. The nightmare was the **void**: that empty space where I had no structure, no purpose, and no system that worked for real life.
That's why I built Lume with my best friend, a fellow ex-addict. This is the program we wish existed when we were stuck.
