Love it, definitely would recommend a purchase.

Listen this app is exactly what your looking for If you love space, and space facts, own or plan to own a telescope, or just curious about what’s above your head at the moment this is the app for you. The price tag might seem steep but the information value, easy to use interface and level of stellar catalogs you get is worth it. Besides being vast in data this app is very informative, visually pleasing and a grate night sky navigation tool for novice and experienced astronomers. Telling you direction, ascension and magnitude of celestial bodies and stellar objects. On top of that there is an entire satellite catalog for you to track and view. It also has built-in compatibility for most rotor based scopes so you can keep speedy object in view. This app is a definite must have if you are an aspiring astronomer or astrophotographer.

Wow

This is a great app for the amateur astrophysicist in all of us. I’ll spend an hour or two with my boyfriend or homeboys just chlllin outside star (& planet!)—gazing. It’s truly delightful! I especially like learning about constellations and celestial bodies that I have always known existed but never knew the actual specifics of. If you’re a hardcore scientist, you will most definitely enjoy the nitty-gritty minutiae & super specific knowledge of space you can gain with this app; and if you’re just someone who enjoys the occasional PBS galactic special, then you’ll simply enjoy the (literal) cosmic amount of information at your fingertips. Major kudos to the creative design team—the artwork is majorly incredible, especially how ancient constellations are grafted over the sky, painting a picture of how our ancestors wove together stories and portraits of heroes & monsters just by looking upward. Enjoy friends!

Fun app

This is a very fun and informative app. Most features can be learned simply by tapping the buttons on the screen. Tapping on a star, planet or any object on the screen will bring up the name and basic info about it. If that is not enough, go to the browser then support and select user's guide and there are professional informative videos on how to operate the app. The Video on the basics is slightly more then 5 min. So it won't waste your time. Selecting a planet, the app will fly through the solar system and orbit the selected planet. Features on it can be selected for more information. Or select a satellite and go "ride" it, So you can see the earth from that perspective.
Fun to use and a serious astronomy tool also. My favorite astronomy app. I found the Andromeda galaxy a couple of nights ago using binoculars and was able to look up all the information on this app. It was really a delight to find and learn something new.

Update: I am still using this app a year later. I just found comet 46P Wirtanen, tonight using the app.

I'm still using this app the most for looking at the night sky with binoculars. I have tried two other apps, but they just don't work well for me.
