LUV-Share 4+

I’m trying to transfer a bunch of files from the PC to the stick. It looked like it was copied successfully but when I check the files on the external storage through either on my phone or on another PC, folder was there but is empty. Tried several times but the folder becomes empty or blank when I check it. When I check other folders that only contain photos and videos, it’s all good. Everything’s still there but this folder I’m trying to copy now contains pdf files aside from photos and videos. Also, where can I find the files I copied from external to internal storage? It’s not in the “Files” app of my iphone. Not also in the Photo Album.

I got the Luv-Share 128 GB USB drive with the lightning adapter as a gift in 2020. It has been great to upload all of my hiking photos and videos that I don’t want to stay on my phone. Up until today it has started to get really buggy. When I try to upload photos and videos into a folder it will give me an error stating “open file =/….” And then won’t upload the images. Or sometimes it won’t give the error and subsequently the images won’t show up in the folder after “successfully copying the image. Another bug is that it’ll upload and you can see the file name in the folder and then you go to click on it to view it and it just shows up as a black screen. I’m hoping this is just bugs with the app and that somehow my USB drive isn’t corrupted considering I haven’t done anything differently when uploading photos and videos in the past year and a half. Please fix these problems!

This awful software is killing this company’s hardware. They say it works with Apple products, but on iPhone and iPad all you can transfer is photos, NO FILE TRANSFER. If you are on a USB c enabled iPad and open Internal Storage on the app, you will see nothing but blank white space where your files should be (the same happens on iPhone with the lightening connector—the app cannot find internal storage files). You can use the app to create a folder in Internal Storage, but iPad itself cannot see it (so what is the point?!). This could be fixed by the LUV-share app creating its own folder resident on the iPad like other apps do (see Firefox). Then at the very least you could copy internal files to the LUV-share folder created by the app and in turn, the app could see your files and you could then transfer them to External Storage. Not sure why they are content to let their software kill their hardware when such an easy fix is available.
