So far so good
Luxxle search results are so far revealing clear biases in other search engines, for MSM and establishment sites. Sadly, even Brave, which was suppose to be the next unbiased search engine, after DDG sold out to the Intel community, seems compromised. We'll see if it gets better or at least stays this way. I haven't researched the origins of this search engine or anything else about them. I'm trying to let the results speak for themselves first. Hopefully, they'll take the road less traveled and remain a people's search engine that eschews corporate and establishment coercion, dedicated to the greatest access to all information. Though, in this day and age, that feels like a naive expectation. I guess we'll just have to see.
Regardless, it's become abundantly clear that we can never again rely upon a single source or site for information. We all have to become the media and the actual fact checkers, as the fourth estate is not just comprimised, but dead. Which means, we must become better, more vigilante, savvy researchers, searching beyond a single search engine, into more independent sites, onto multiple platforms, while comparing results with one another, to pull the threads of truth for ourselves.
Excellent!
This browser is not yet as polished as some which have been around for years. However it is already very good and improving. I like the lenses feature which allows me to filter out news sources I know to be heavily biased and even all main stream media sources.
Needs some work in a few areas like the reader mode which doesn't always capture the full article and reader mode defaults to dark mode each time I use it. I consider these growing pains.
Great Search Engine!
I just started using Luxxle, and it’s really a fantastic app! You can use various filters according to your political preferences, and you can even filter out MSM sources if you want to. It gives good search results which you can sort in various ways. I’m extremely impressed!
