I cant believe pathetic built of this app. I was screwed as everytime I tried to pause/play the video by clicking on it, it changed the video. It took me a while to figure out that the clicks on the video are being sent back to the background screen because of which if you click on the right side of the video (when it is on fullscreen), that click is being sent to the right column (where there is a list of videos behind the current playing video) and chenges the current playing video.

I havent seen such a bad built of an app before. Lynda used to be great before LinkedIn aquired it.

This is genuinely a disappointing app. It installs and fine and appears to work as intended but installed apps typically have more features than the web not less. There doesn’t appear to be a reason why the transcript can’t be downloaded used off-line. All of us can read faster than we can watch the video and the transcript allows me to quickly find areas of interest and follow along w/out having to disturb those close to me or use headphones. I consume the transcript as much as the videos as such the app is a real disappointment.

I don't see why everyone hates this app so much. However, I will give this app only 4 stars since I did notice the theater mode setting neglecting to hide the background from your mouse. Other than that, I found the full downloads to be incredibly handy as I frequently ride on a train with no wifi. I'm also impressed with how quickly it syncs my progress once I return to wifi. Lastly, I find the interface to be simple and easy to navigate.
