LET’S PLAY

Select a genre or category;
the prompt screen will display;
a series of eight rounds will begin;
the song title with the list of words will display;
the round timer will begin with the display of eight seconds duration;
select a word in the list;
a point is given if the correct word is selected.

Get the answer wrong, no point is awarded and the correct answer is not identified.

Match eight correct words in a genre or category and advance one level. The player who successfully advances eight levels is a Lyrics Guru®.

I love this app, I'm hooked

Fun & Challenging - version 1.2

***The updated app, version 1.2 is even better!!*** I really like that this game is different than other song lyrics games, which require users to listen to an audio track and then identity the song. Lyrics Guru provides a song title, and a list of words, one of which is part of the lyrics to the song. I find this to be much more challenging. There's a large selection of genres to choose from. The app installs and launches very easily and quickly. There's a fun & funky opening song loop. The font and color scheme are eye-pleasing and easy to read. I strongly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys reading lyrics.

Awesome and Fun

Lyrics Guru is a very fun game that is both different and better than competing apps. I like the color schemes and text. It is definitely fun and challenging. I am excellent with music lyrics and really enjoy this app. It is way better than similar games.
