Basic Live View is Good

The app is fairly stable and seems to connect much quicker to cameras than when it was first released. While for most users, I would think this to be a 4-star app, however, I have to rate it for myself. We have a set-up that uses half-D1 recording settings. This creates an image that is about 720x240 pixels. While the M7 PC/Mac software displays it in 4:3 ratio, this app displays it in an exact pixel mapping. The result is a very squished image that is not watchable. So, I simply can't use the app as-is. Here's hoping that M7 can figure out a way to redo the anamorphic display of this to match their PC/Mac based software.

I'd also love to see multiple feeds possilbe (maybe 4). This would be great for the iPad, but I understand the possible bandwidth constraints it may put on a wireless network.

For simple home use of one camera at a time, this would really be an excellent app. For business use, it may be nice if there are a few select cameras that you need to monitor on occassion. However, if you record at any resolution that is different that the ratio of the actual sensor, this app will not compensate.

App requires Internet login to view LAN IP Cameras

App will not work without logging in to Microseven’s server, even to view local LAN cameras via IP. If your Internet or Microseven servers are down (as they have been for at least 3 days now), you can not use this app to view either live video or recordings (stored on SD card in camera). Even when the app does work, it is very outdated as you can’t view live video from multiple cameras, nor can you download and share recordings via this app, you can only watch the individual recordings. If you need to share recordings you must activate local screen capture recording.

Can't connect to camera since May 4 update

iPhone software worked pretty well until this latest update. I can't connect to the camera or the settings anymore. Errors I get are: "Failed to connect to camera" or "failed to get settings."
