This update makes the app far more usable with VoiceOver and Voice Control. Every playback control now has a clear spoken label, so you can say things like "Tap Next Chapter" or "Tap Skip Back 15 Seconds" without looking at the screen. Also fixed: the chapter skip buttons now reliably appear when you reopen the player from the mini-bar, and the tab bar stays visible while the full player is open.

Take control of playback right from your Home Screen. The Continue Listening widget now has tap-friendly buttons to skip back 15 seconds, play/pause, or jump to the next chapter — no need to open the app. iOS 18 also brings a "Listen" tile you can add to Control Center, the Action Button, or your Lock Screen. One tap resumes wherever you left off. Still new in 3.5: in-app video for video episodes, video downloads, and Manage Downloads for storage control.

Watch episodes inline with adaptive HLS streaming, download video for offline viewing, and ask Siri to play the latest show. Two new Home Screen widgets keep your current episode and the newest one one tap away. A new Manage Downloads screen makes it easy to see what's eating your storage. Plus bug fixes and polish.

Version 3.4: Now with Video You can now watch Mac Geek Gab episodes when video is available. Tap the new video icon in the player to switch from audio to picture — your position is preserved both ways. Rotate to landscape or tap the expand button for full-screen playback with on-screen controls. The latest episodes have video, and the back catalog will gain video over time.
