The groundbreaking roleplaying game Mage: The Ascension manifests in our turbulent present with Refuge, an interactive fiction written by critically-acclaimed author Karin Tidbeck.
Set in modern-day Sweden, Mage: Refuge lets you experience today's social and political upheavals while awakening to the power of True Magick - the ability to shape reality itself through your force of belief. Many will try to recruit you into a secret war where human consensus itself is the battlefield. Your actions and choices will have profound consequences on the world and people around you... assuming madness and Paradox doesn't claim you first.
Safety or sacrifice - the choice is yours.
Don't forget to check out Vampire: We Eat Blood, also by White Wolf and written by award-winning author Zak Sabbath and Sara Horrocks.

It is not a proper game nor story
This story wasn't about Mages, it was about refugees. Mage setting was just a flavor to it. And it was flavor that didn't last long. It is short and without proper ending, choose you own adventure style is on the surface but generally it's just a linear story so interactivity is almost none. Vfx of the game - constant glitches and creepy music were more as distraction and annoyance than something that helps the mood of the novel. Since Mage is full of content I have expected more from their first mobile game, but instead of that I payed 5$ for something that I would value maybe only 1. I hope if their next game would happen they will put more effort to it.
A blast from the past with soul but no follow-through
I used to play the table-top Mage game, and this has a lot of that same mystical and thought-provoking spirit, but is very linear and brief. You cannot choose your own faction, nor are you formally introduced into the faction system in Mage. Yes, there are spelling errors here and there, but this is a trivial concern compared to the other issues the game faces along with being greatly overpriced for what you get. The story is a good one, however brief, but the role-playing experience is extremely limited. But if you just love MtA, then you're gonna buy it anyway, just like me, right? And that's why they know they can price it like this. But preying upon your loyal fan base with an inferior product is not a way to inspire continued loyalty. What is an entire game here could have been chapter 1 in a story that was truly worthy of the Mage name and legacy. I hope WW does a better job in the future. I would really love be to play a great Mage game on my phone some time.

Best regards, The Asmodee Digital Team.
Take shots at anti pc for saying how modern fiction ruins plots with poorly written sjw plot lines and immediately proves him right by adding said plot lines. Have an relationship with a guy who uses emotional control magic on you and treats it like a loving and freedom giving partnership. And many other examples not even a third of the way in.
