I understand the reviews that are upset about the new subscription and the one time fee because I had used this app for quite awhile when I was starting out and it is still one of my favorites because it is one of the rare apps that had the ability to add more than one character out of all the paid and free apps. However running something of this capacity seems expensive and I can understand putting a paywall. It would be nice if there was some variety added to the furniture once it was paywalled though. The controls while still very similar are slightly harder to see (I might just be blind) it would be nice if there was an option to change the joints shape and color back to the original color and shape. I don’t mind the paywall and the new customizations are great I do wish the individual limbs could be more customizable maybe even have some be removable and maybe be able to change the height of the characters. Otherwise it’s a great app and I would and have recommended it to multiple friends 👍.
Slight edit: I would like to add that locking the joints would also be a helpful feature. Also the drop feature is cool but the characters phase through objects when it’s clicked

The controls are only harder because we added more controls (like additional spine controls, a new head and neck control point for realistic poses, as an example), and we will be adding way more across all tiers to our app with this new pricing. It really simplifies our app's pricing so that we can focus on adding more of what you want, and only the best quality. We will not be changing the joint colors to what it was before, but you will find that you can few joints from any angle that you are viewing them. We will be adding more controls to individual limbs (like scaling and morphs), but one new thing you might not have discovered is that you can mirror any hand/foot or arm/leg to the other! This really helps make posing faster. We will also try to add scaling in the future as well.

Recently like many, I have been slowly recovering from the disaster the past few years have been. Having used this app for a long time on my old device I thought it would be great to purchase all the assets for my new device….. but then the pay structure changed. I understand that the developers must survive, however there should be a way to purchase flat out all the assets and 3D exporting feature without a constant subscription. I know many fellow colleagues in my office that think this same way. They will purchase apps and features for $25-$50 one time fee, but will never think about a constant subscription, even to something $3-$5 a month. The old coin pay structure was messy, however permanently owning features of a program is the most important thing for me when looking at apps.

I would spend more money on this app, or even consider the subscription if the structure was different. The subscription should give you the full app, 100% of all current, and FUTURE features. Maybe even a dedicated support line. However you should be able to purchase the current “master” features at a higher one time price. This would give someone who cannot spend much the ability to access all features through the monthly plan. And give business professionals the ability to outright purchase for a higher one time price the current features.

Thank you for your feedback and support for our app! First, just to clarify, you keep everything you bought in the old version of the app that you bought, and you do keep everything as a Master subscriber when you are subscribed (everything in the app now, and everything that will be added in the app later). Second, about the subscription: We have arrived at this pricing through a lot of research and many user interviews. While we may adjust the nuances of the pricing in the future, we do believe this is the right business model right now, and it will be best for both our users and our companies. Here are a few key points that we considered when we decided on the pricing:

1. Since Master version allows you unlimited export of all of our 3D models, it is a fully featured 3D app. Thus it makes sense to price it similarly as other high quality 3D apps in the market, such as SketchUp, Shapr3D, UMake, BodiesInMotion. (And our app's subscription is actually cheaper than most other 3D apps).
2. We do want to continue adding studio-quality 3D models in the future, which is what our users really want too. We custom make all these studio-quality models (like Arnold 3 and Elle 3) by working with top artists in the industry because that gives us the best quality and most consistent art style. We plan to do the same with animal models, skeleton models, wings, clothing, etc. in the future! So you will see our asset library expanding a lot! Custom making these studio quality models is not cheap. If you search for a very high quality, fully-rigged horse model on the internet, it easily costs $50+. We think paying for a subscription to access all the models we will have in the future is going to be cheaper for our users too.
3. The subscription model saves us a lot of trouble with pricing each individual prop so that we can put more energy into making the asset library really good. It also makes it easier to auto-update our subscribers onto newer versions of the same asset. For example, with one-time purchase, if you bought an older version of the horse, then if we have a much better version a year later, should we charge again or not? The subscription greatly simplifies that process.


Of course, we understand that everyone comes from different backgrounds and has different opinions about difficult decisions such as pricing. We are always happy to listen and happy to share with you the reasons behind our decision process. ❤️

Y’all messed up the game because why did y’all make all this “pro” and “master” stuff???? Look, I know every game developer wants to make money as much as the next one does but this right here is not the way. If your an old user don’t come back because now they are making you pay for subscriptions to use models and stuff like that. Y’all got me really messed up cause why I need to pay to duplicate a model…. 💀

In the old app version it had coins that were called “wombat coins” If you logged in each day it would give you five coins and if you came for 7 days in a row those coins would go up by 5, therefore you would ten coins if you logged in each day. If skipped a day you lost your streak and would start off with 5 again. With those coins you could buy models probs hair and even clothes for them. Also if you signed up for the first time in the old app version it gave you 600 or 500 coins to start off with.

Y’all don’t download the app because this is just one of those subscription apps and I don’t want no developer response talking about some “Well you could try our 1 week free trial! 😁” ( I gave it 5 stars so the developer could see this.) Y’all stay safe tho.

As for the subscription model, please note that all core features are in our Pro version one-time fee upgrade, which includes: body morphs, multiple light types, multiple light sources, grouping, additional models, unlimited models in one scene, new female model, layers menu, views menu, camera angles, and much more. The subscription is reserved for advanced users who need unlimited 3D import and export at a fraction of 3D software prices. The previous a la carte purchase model is simply not profitable for our team to continue development. We do want to provide studio quality models to our users. Through user interviews, we found out that our users want top quality models as well! And regarding everything you purchased, we will never take anything away from you that you already purchased. So if you cannot get access to the old models you purchased, please let us know and we will help you immediately!
