Magician's Saga 9+

Gameplay loop is mostly focused on battling in stages while upgrading your town afterwards. It still maintains that kairosoft charm of "just one last thing" and keeps you playing for ages. No base placing or the like if that's your favorite part, but progression is still supremely satisfying. Kairosoft makes some of the best games in the App Store. You just know when you download/buy one you'll be playing it for the next week at least, WITHOUT having to deal with endless microtransactions and pvp determined by whoever pays the most. And when youre done? Try another! They're cheap, or flat out free. I know this comes off like a raving shill review, but the truth is I rarely review any games, and Kairosoft is one of a handful of companies I can expect quality from, each and every time.

By fresh I mean fresh for kairosoft. This game is arguably rather generic, but as a kairosoft fan, this new twist is refreshing. My only complaint is that there appears to be no way to turn off sound and music in the game, but other than that I really enjoy it. And the ability to earn gems by checking out kairosoft games is a nice addition. If the link directs me to a free Kairo game I don’t have I always download it haha. Pretty great idea on the developers behalf. But yeah, thanks for a great game guys. Really.

I am enjoying the game. Once you get a few town folk to join your team the progression picks up. Upgrades are linked in groups. So if you upgrade hp the cost next time goes up for hp AND mana. Same for atk def and regen. Same for cold fire lit. You might like switching spells or specialize in one element and let your recruits do the other types of magic damage. Upgrading your elements not only makes that specific atk stronger it gets bonus to the atk type. Like bigger splash radius. Only issue is I don’t understand the gear as of yet in relation to its leveling up= power. Gear lvl up and gets stronger prob is my bigger stuff is so strong vs newer stuff I don’t change equipment. And one other thing. Your not grinding zones for diamonds. After each map. Search the down for the man that offers diamonds. It’s 50 per
