MagView Gear 4+

I bought the MagView for my spotter last year and the spotter mount and app worked great. Upgraded to a new iPhone 15 in October and the app will not work. From I've read, MagView Gear has said several times since September that the app will be working on the new iPhone in a couple weeks. Well here we are 3 months later and almost through an entire hunting season and the app is still not working. Every app on my phone worked just fine after the upgrade, so not sure what issues they're working through. You'd like to think it would be a huge priority for them to get this resolved, especially during hunting season. Not sure how they will manage to stay in business. Long story short, great product when it worked but just lost an entire hunting season of use. A lot of money wasted.....

I bought this setup to move away from phone Skope which worked great. But I update my phone every year and it just wasn’t a good solution for the long term. Tried this on my iPhone 14 Pro before I made the switch and it worked ok. Went to the iPhone 15 and NOTHING!!! Now I can’t use my binos or scope for the upcoming hunt. Pretty frustrated. On top of that the app is ok but is way better than trying to get regular camera by itself to focus. So without the app your really screwed.

Updated to IOS 17 on my iPhone 14 and checked the app and everything appeared to work fine. Moved up to the iPhone 15 today and the app won’t open. Deleted and reinstalled it with no luck. I leave this Saturday for a trip and now I’m scrambling for a work around so I can still use the expensive MagViews I have on my spotter and binoculars.
