Beautiful stationery, problems with Mojave
Lots of beautiful, cheap stationery, but mail in Mojave no longer provides an option for stationery, so you may have to jump through hoops to get it to work.
When clicking "Open" on stationery in the app, a Finder window was opened showing the mailstationery folder. Dragging the folder onto the Apple Mail icon will install that stationery in Apple Mail and open a new message using the stationery.
Since Apple Mail no longer provides a stationery button to show available stationery, the only way I could find to use the stationery again was to drag the mailstationery folder onto Mail again.
Images didn't load In the stationery I used, so I had to modify the stationery before installing it in Apple Mail.
I should probably give this fewer stars, but I did get the stationery I wanted and it does look good. I will continue using the app, even with the hoops I had to jump through. Hopefully, they will update the app to work better with Apple Mail in Mojave.
Tried to load 1 Christmas template
I clicked to load, confirmed the purchase with Apple, got the notice that the purchase had been successful. Then got a pop up from the app that there was a problem with the purchase. Then received an email from Apple that I had had made the purchase and download.
UPDATE: I went back to the app hours later and tried it again. Again,my purchase was confirmed by Apple. Then I cliked on the download button again and it told me I had already downloaded it, NOT, but allowed me to redownload. Finally, got the one template I wanted. I did dowload all the free templates just before doing this to confirm that the app actually works.
Clearly there is a bug in the app and the way that it is communicating with apple or registering purchases. Stick with it if you really want the templates as they seem to work. App developers, you have some bugs to fix! Three stars until it works without all the hassle.
I like it
I noted a slew of bad reviews, all for version 2.2.1, but now available is version 4.2.1, and this looks like just what I was looking for. The app itself is free, and provides a portal to examine a large collection of stationery for use with Apple Mail. You can purchase only what you plan to use at 99 cents each, or you can buy the entire collection (evidently) for $4.99, both reasonable prices, IMHO. I noted the bad reviews were by folks who did not seem to understand the system. I’m pleased.
