Inconsistent

The app is inconsistent. Once it was awesome. Since then it has never worked correctly. It gets confused about which issue I should have included in my subscription and which ones I should pay an astronomical $6 for. Every time I log in it changes, but now it's holding steady on not letting me read the latest issue which was the only one it let me read the first time I logged in.

The log in is your subscription number which is some arbitrary number they assign you and there's in way you'll ever remember it for when you have to sign out and sign back in to try to get it to recognize your subscription correctly.

But once it does work, even if you're reading some other issue besides the done you wanted, it works pretty well after that and links to external pages and has good internal links to articles.

Reviews of this app go back only 2 years

I want to subscribe to digital but you only have reviews of your app going back 2 years. Those reviews are universally terrible.

But you most recent update is 7 months ago.

How is that possible? How is anyone to know your subscription is worth $35?

And if have been burned before by generic apps made by cheap designers who sell it to publishers who don’t know they got what they paid for; a buggy app locked into a feature set you can’t change and poor technical support.

The publisher gets screwed but ultimately the subscribers do with a poor quality app.

Which brings me back why you haven’t allowed reviews in 2 years.

I guess I will have to go elsewhere to find subscribers who can tell me if your app is worth your subscription.

1 star for zero transparency

It’s good now!

I didn’t have the app when these 1 star reviews were posted but I can say the experience for me is great. Easy to navigate and tons and tons of archived issues and articles. Love ‘Make’ and am so happy to have access to this app.
