Not really what I was looking for...
This is the second time I purchase this app. It always did a decent job for whatever icons are required. I wrote to support to see why app just dissapeared from my computer and I was not able to redownload. Support never replied to my request. I thought that by purchasing the app a second time (not cheap for what it does) it would work. Now I'm not able to get all the sizes like before (1024x768) nowhere to be found. Really frustrated. Wish at least someone would get back at me. Very dissapointed...DO NOT purchase

No control over formatting, clips images badly.

reasonable but not great
For rational icons (square) it does a reasonable job of automatically generating the (many) sizes needed for various platforms, automatically. However, there’s no contorl over positioning. It does not generate useful icons for the iMessage platform, so don’t buy it if that’s what you need. (This is not entirely the fault of the app maker, the iMessage icons are not rational sizes.)
