Maktun is a new free application for numismatists, bonists and notaphilists. It suits both novice and experienced collectors.
In Maktun you can:
— Identify the coin and banknote by the photo from the phone. Maktun already knows about 300 000 types of coins and 120 000 types of banknotes.
— Learn detailed information about the coin and banknote: country, nominal value, years of mintage, catalogue number, series, weight, dimensions and other details.
— Create and maintain a collection of your coins and banknotes.
— Always have your collection at hand. Even with no internet connection.
— Save photos of your coins and banknotes.
— Add coins and banknotes to the lists.
— Get an approximate value of the coin.
— Access your collection from all of your devices.
— Be sure about the safety of your collection, thanks to the backup system.
— Share coins and banknotes with friends and other collectors.
— Follow the new coins.
— Import collection into Maktun.

Really good app, highly recommend!
I’ve started collecting coins not too long ago, and a family member of mine sent me a link to this app in the AppStore. The app is helpful for finding the value of your coin, and you can easily find the description to the coin if you want to learn more about it. All you need to do is take a picture of your coin and it will show you everything you need to know about it.
Highly recommend this app to serious coin collectors.
