"Best app ever!! Rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia has made me super forgetful, and this app has kept me right on track with my meds!! Love this app, better than all the others definitely!! Very easy to use and customer support is the best. It's perfect for spoonies everywhere -- highly recommend. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!""

"This app has helped me get my life back on track. I'm a single mom and have a multiple sclerosis. This has really helped me not worry when I last took a dose or accidentally take two because I forgot I just took one. Wonderful app!"

"I recently started taking PrEP. Mango reminds me to take it at the same time each day, and gives me incentives to do so. Even better still, I am able to check for drug interactions with just a few clicks. Definitely 5 star app."

Good and so-so

I like the reminder for the meds, and the fact that there are words for sticking with your plan. Things I don’t like: you can’t go in and tell her you took your evening meds half hour early so you can go to bed earlier. You can’t tell it you took your morning meds an hour earlier because you had to get up for some thing and be somewhere by the time you were supposed to be taking the meds. You cannot look up a medical interaction without saying you’re taking the medication. If those things are possible in the app, it’s not intuitive on how to fix that on a day-to-day basis as your life changes from a specific exacting schedule. The other thing I don’t like is that I frequently stop using my phone at night so I can start relaxing and to sleep. If I forget to tell it I’ve taken my meds before I do that, it does not give me credit for having taken them when I say I did the next morning. I don’t like being wagged by the dogs tail. But again I do love the rewards that I can donate to organizations that need them.

Changed review!!!

Update from previous review:
after talking with someone a couple weeks ago I learned how to shorten the medicine name and now font size are same so I decided to change my original review which is below. Also last night I also won 75$ gift card so it’s real. Just make sure to keep trying! Raised the rating now because of these things. But also I’m still waiting for that alphabetical listing for a quicker search!!!!

Original review (3 star): Good app but lacks some obvious improvements. First off for all of us who use this for numerous medicines it especially would help if we can sort the list by alphabetical or as a group those taken on a regular basis and medicines taken in emergencies i.e. nitroglycerin, epipen. It would make it easier to find. On that note it is bad design to have medicine in different font sizes. If there are too many characters, truncate while in list or put to a second line. That way all lettering would be same size. It’s sad that the short-named medicine gets a bold font while long ones I literally have to use a magnifying glass to read. Changing this will make it look good and consistent. I appreciate the app for what it does provide but these two issues has me wanting to find another app instead.

It’s just a reminder app; it shouldn’t be this glitchy!!

I normally don’t review apps, but this was a must. I downloaded this to help manage medication, and honestly, it’s such a disappointment. Not only do you have to open and close the app multiple times to clear a notification, but the reminders are enough to drive someone crazy. I have a lot of reminders already, so it’s important to me that I don’t have them go off at the same time. Seems like a simple fix, right, just set them all to go at different times? Wrong. A 4 pm reminder on this app may go off at 3:55 or God knows when, which means I miss the reminder for my medication when it “overlaps,” another alert. Seriously, this app can’t even tell time? Useless.
It took me a while to set up all of my medications in this app (not user friendly at all), only to have it drive me crazy with alerts at the wrong time, alerts that you can’t clear from the Fitbit (they just pop right back up, wth?!) and that take multiple steps to clear from the phone.
This is advertised as a health app; you should fix the glitches before advertising as such. Just use the Apple Reminder app. It’s much less hassle and more reliable. The only feature you’d miss out on are the “weekly drawings” for prizes, but you’ll literally never win them in Mango.
