Description

You control an AR character who can walk around and shoot zombies.

This game explores player interaction with AR Mobile devices. If you're interested in experimental games or AR games, this is something you should check out. Watch the gameplay video, I think it's really cool!

1. To start the game, scan the surface you want to play on, then press the buttons to begin.

2. To move your character, drag and hold on the left side of your screen.

3. To use an item, tap on the right side of your screen.

4. To point an item at an object in your environment, point your camera at the object.

For a challenging adventure, follow Alice down the rabbit hole.

Proposed features: Giant enemies, Surrealist Weapons, Custom Character Models, Bullets that go through things, Multiplayer.

- I am taking suggestions about interesting ways to expand the game. If you think of something that would be cool in AR, let me know.

- If you have some filming know-how and want to make some 20-30 second clips of gameplay for me to use as App Store Previews (I don't have the devices to make App Previews at every resolution), send them to:

Awesome Game w/ Quiet Guns

This game is awesome - I love 3PS and there is no other game like this out there. The weapons and the actual animations/play make this a total blast. The editing capabilities make it totally open world. This dev has something unique. There is so much potential in this platform it’s insane.

However comma, it seems like it needs some kind of sound support for the new iOS? The weapons are quiet, and when I try to use Bluetooth earbuds, no sound at all. iPhone6 plus using Bluetooth earbuds which are usually quite loud. I up-scaled the AR platform at the beginning to see if it made a difference but no dice, and checked all my settings.

Developer Response ,

Hey Fateful, this is Brian, I'm ecstatic you think the game is awesome and thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. I haven't added background music to the game yet but I hope to soon. I'm thinking high-energy jazz. The only sound currently in the game are the sounds of weapons firing. Are you able to hear the weapon sounds or no sounds at all? Did the problem start when you upgraded to iOS 13? I'm working on an update right now so any feedback would be great. Thank you again and please let me know if there are any other features you would like to see or issues you'd like fixed.

its for me to learn ,

My game freezes

I love this game it’s like a dream but like in some minutes my screen freezes. So can you please fix it :D

Developer Response ,

Ice-Cold Gamer,
The app is freezing because you are so cool. This is a known issue for users who have a high "it-factor."

All jokes aside, this is a known issue. I need to update something called the ARKit framework, which should resolve this very simply. Sadly, I've been hoping to update this game for months, but haven't gotten around to it. You're review re-energizes me though!

I'll send you an update if I get it fixed. Please feel free to share any other bugs or feature requests.

Thank you,
Brian

Makes no sense

Guys this game is impossible to get going if you didn't design it - I was dinking around for over 5 minutes and I don't understand how to play it at all. The concept seems good but just put a gun in my hand right at the start with some zombies to shoot immediately. Add challenges to come in later..I guess - or just have it be shooting zombies on my desk which would be enough..it seems..if I actually was able to get that far.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for all the downloads Sorrybruhs, you almost got me to 1000 and your participation means so much to me. Please, tell your friends how much you like the concept, they'll probably have an easier time with the controls! Sorry you struggled so much with my two-button game, I'll try to think of a one-button experience for your demographic. Thanks for the tip! I designed these controls for use by five year-olds with no gaming experience, so I'm sure if you keep practicing, you'll eventually be able to achieve basic proficiency. Next time, don't spend 5 min. of your time "dinking" around. Instead, spend those precious 5 min. reading the written instructions clearly indicated in the app description OR looking at the expertly-designed image based instructions that are clearly indicated in the game set up. (The image-based instructions don't even require literacy, so I hope you'll find those instructions approachable.) It seems you somehow missed (or ignored) both of those instructions which explains why you are so frustrated and confused, what a disappointment! Don't feel bad though, it's not reasonable to expect yourself to instantly grasp a game that has literally defined a new gaming genera! That kind of thing takes patient exploration, or a quick glance at the instructions. Once you've looked the instructions over, you'll find this is the funnest game on your phone, just like all my other happy fans. A player like you might also enjoy my other ultra-successful app "Shake that App for ME," which is designed for younger, less mature audiences (rated ages 4+) and only requires that you jump around while looking in one direction. Some people can figure that one out without reading the instructions, but I don't want you to get frustrated and confused again, so, to be safe, you probably should.

Thanks again for the download, Charles. I'm glad I could open your eyes to the immense potential of mobile games. If you're truly interested in games, you might want to try learning how to make them yourself. With a little practice and determination, you might even be able to publish something authentically appealing. Just like me! ;)
