Description

Hawai‘i was the first state in the country to adopt a "Percent for Art" program, requiring at least 1 percent of all money going toward public construction projects to be spent on public art. The Manoa neighborhood, and the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa in particular, has been a major beneficiary of this law. This mobile app, in turn, is dedicated to promoting public discourse about the public art in Manoa.
