The Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office mobile application is an interactive app developed to help improve communication with area residents. The Mariposa County Sheriff App allows residents to connect with the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office by reporting crimes, submitting tips, and other interactive features, as well as providing the community the latest public safety news and information.

The app is another public outreach effort developed by the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office to improve communication with county residents and visitors.

This app is not intended to be used to report emergency situations. Please call 911 in an emergency.

Great app!

This app is highly functional with lots of integration. The app is definitely not a bunch of web links!

Confused, I struggled to find notifications list,

This is a good start, supposed to replace NIXLE. But I am not sure I’m getting all the notifications. I live near Madera and used to get both mariposa and Madera NIXLE.

After being frustrated trying to find yesterday’s notifications, today we got an “all clear” and I noticed the Gold bar above the icons. Since when is a message bar an action button?

We’re this a real event I’d be panicking over where the message went. How about red, yellow, green paradigm for messages?

Not really an app as much as links to the County website. Maybe as it matures as an actual app will it be more useful to the public.
