Market 2day 4+

Love what I get from Market2day. The company is very responsive, delivers and the food has been high quality. The app is super glitchy. It will stop working for days and just get a blank screen. I missed placing an order about twice because of that. Also no way to get customer support for the app rather than the delivery. I do wonder if they invested in some upgrades they might see more orders.

I was excited when a farmers’ market vendor told me about this app, since the farmers’ markets are not operating at full capacity during COVID-19 and many vendors have understandably chosen to not come to markets at present. I like to shop local and, like at least one other reviewer, I am a vegetarian. But roughly two weeks after downloading, I have yet to successfully place an order. The app doesn’t specify what date ordering opens each week, so I have to remember to check the app until the farms start showing the option to add things to my cart. And then when trying to shop, the screen frequently is very slow or goes completely blank. Sometimes when it goes completely blank the app will come back if I give it a minute or two, but sometimes it won’t, at which point I have to reboot my phone to get the app to start working again. I have a new phone running the current iOS, so I really don’t think my phone is the issue here. After several tries I am probably going to give up on ordering. There are much easier ways for me to get local products at this time of year, even though this app offers some things I haven’t seen elsewhere this year.

Great app. It just needs a phone number to call for customer service. The email I sent received a generic reply. I didn’t see my order listed in my order history, turns out my order is actually there and being processed.
