The Marquee subscription is monthly or yearly and renews every month or year unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before end of the current subscription period. Perfect for Quarantine, Perfect for Me
I bought a full year subscription to Marquee because 1) it was discounted 2) there was a particular ballet I wanted to watch that I couldn't find easily elsewhere. I am soooo glad I gifted myself this app! I love to watch all the classical ballets, but Marquee has opened my world up to things like contemporary works and opera. Also very impressed with the variety of content, and that they are constantly updating the collections. The video player is very easy to use. The only improvement I can think of: ability to create multiple, custom-named playlists instead of just one "Watch Later" list. Other than that...I really hope Marquee remains popular enough to stick around! I will be heartbroken if it goes away. Keep up the great service!

Wonderful App
I joined Marquee temporarily to see the Nutcracker and was amazed at all of the great performances. Just about any Shakespeare play ever written and all of the great operas, ballets and classical performances are available in high definition. Bach's St John’s Passion was so moving the way it was photographed and Carmen filmed in the Sydney Harbor made me feel like I was there. Thanks for creating something that’s been missing way too long. Now anyone can enjoy the arts at a reasonable price.
Good selection of programming. Varying quality.
There is a lot worth watching on the platform. My main reasons for four instead of five stars are limited subtitle options (bad translations, out of sync with the performance) and I wish the repertoire of operas available was more varied. I also have an active subscription for Met Opera on demand and I find their selection of available opera performances superior, and their app is better designed. That said, I have loved the dance programming on offer from Marquee TV, and that definitely helps it compete with other apps.
