Fun Game, Please Release More Content!

Very fun game. The gameplay is simple, the story is fun, and I even oddly really like the music. I purchased the game to get rid of the ad content. This is a very detailed game that I feel took a lot of time and effort. And I am quite glad to support by making the purchase, I just beg you to please release more content, I burned through this in a week! Wonderful game, please keep the story going, and please make more games like this!

Honest Review: Ad Machine

This isn’t a game; it is an Ad machine disguised as a game. 1. Mine materials A. Watch Ads to speed up mining. 2. Turn in materials to construct some machine. A. Watch Ads to speed up construction. This is the two and only things you will do in this game. That being said they sprinkled in more Ads to watch for different things. If you think you won’t watch Ads and be able to play this game you are wrong. The longer you play the more Ads you have to watch to speed things up. For instance when you get an hour long construction wait time, this is 3 Ads. Why 3, the Ad only shortens the time by 20 minutes. It’s actually brilliant on their part but an absolute waste of your time. It becomes monotonous and it will make you anxious and stressed. There are also random timer Ads that interrupt the game forcing you to watch an Ad. The wearable items you can get cost gems or whatever the currency is, oh and you guessed it more Ads once a day to get a free item. But it’s not free is it… It cost you time. Note: For those that like watching an endless amount of Ads this game is for you.

There may be a great game here. The controls feel good. The hit registry is rewarding. The background ideas are there. But I’ll never know if the developers were able to pull it all together, as this game is rendered entirely broken by the ridiculous and incessant advertising. Every 2-3 minutes you get a full screen splash ad. More often than not, this ad will freeze and you’ll have to reset (which doesn’t seem to reset the ad clock curiously enough). This is all in addition to the banner ad constantly at the bottom of your screen. Sure, you could spend $8 and go “ad free”. Frankly though, I couldn’t spend enough time in the game to even see if that was worth it. Developers- pick one. Don’t shove ads into every orifice and crevice. Pick one system and stick with it. I suspect had the experience not been ruined, I would have played this game quite a bit. As it is, you got less than an hour of my time before I deleted it forever.
