As my husband is very ill, the convenience of being able to order my food the night before or the morning of the day I pick it up has been so convenient and so lovely for me. The kindness of the staff is just incredible! Well, sometimes I sneak away when he’s taking a nap the fact that I can do it quickly and everybody helps put it in the car and they’re just so kind. I truly love the service and I think you so much Martins.!!!!
Every Friday I would get an email with the new circular and bonus offers, then it suddenly stopped. After contacting Customer Support they said they found the problem and would correct it in a couple of weeks. Never did. Subsequent emails to them go unanswered. It’s a shame too because they have great values and awesome employees. Now I divide up my shopping between Walmart Safeway Weis and Food Lion, all within a couple blocks of each other in our neighborhood.
I would love using the app but it won’t allow me to change the store near me. It’s giving me a store in another state. :( Ive tried to change it three days now and it says “sorry, something went wrong. Check back later.”At least I can see what coupons and items they have. Still have to search in the store when I get there.
Since we have to choose which coupons to add, rather than have access to all deals automatically with our bonus card, we should at least be able to load more than one coupon at a time. I would load ALL coupons and then check to see what coupons I have either just before I go shopping or during my trip. BUT WAIT... That won't work either, because even though we have loaded coupons, we may not be able to use them. They STAY IN THE LOADED COUPONS TAB OF THE APP even AFTER redemption. Soooo... if I buy a specific item frequently, yet I can't remember if I loaded a coupon before or after I last purchased it, then it's anyone's guess what my total is going to be at the register. And I have no idea when comparing prices, which brand is going to be a better deal (I MAY or MAY NOT have a coupon that works for one of the brands.) Ridiculous!UPDATE: Lowered to one star. DONT TRUST THE COUPONS. I loaded a $1.50 coupon for one item while in the parking lot, completed my entire shopping trip, purchased two of the exact items listed on the coupon, and received NO credit/discount. I'm glad I checked to see that it was missing! The cashier compared the coupon to the items purchased and issued the discount. BUT, for reasons previously listed, I have NO IDEA if I was supposed to receive any more credits on other items. It's crap!
This is absolutely the worst App I have ever used since apps became available. Do not waste your time and definitely do not use your credit card here to order food or items fr m Martins. I spent 20 or 25 minutes downloading the app, giving them my email, phone number, address and credit card information. I then ordered a beef backstrap on Monday and Martins apps said I could pick it up between 6 and 7 on Wednesday. They promptly charged my credit card the cost of the backstrap and tax plus also charged me 3.00 extra dollars for a online order. Well how nice of Martins to throw that in at the check out. So Wednesday I drive the 30 minutes through the city to get to the store. I go inside to get my order only to be told I had to go back to my car, park in a designated parking spot and call them. So o went back outside called the number, then they take my name and inform me my order was cancelled. So I am about 40 minutes into the trip, already paid Martins. And now my order has been cancelled, no curtesy Email, text, phone call, Nothing!! Simply, your order was cancelled. Well F?!($;56? THANK YOU Martins. I still haven’t got my money back. Biggest scam during the Pandemic Martins taking hard earned dollars and promising food only to find out they cost me more money in gas and time than it was worth.
I got this app hoping I could use the Martins Direct feature. After making my whole shopping list I tried to check out but before I could I had to create a Martins card. However once I entered all my information it said “error”, everything was correct but I tried a few more times… “Error”. Then I tried to go to my account on the app to check if something was wrong. I couldn’t check my account unless I made a Martins card. Ok well I guess I’ll just delete my account then try again, nope, can’t delete your account unless you make a martins card, so I’ll try to make a card again, “error”. 2.5 hours wasted so I finally deleted the app. My husband tried to make an account but he had the exact same issue. He even tried to add his phone number (from the martins rewards system) but after entering his last name and phone number, “couldn’t link this number to your account” even though we use it in-store all the time. Definitely not worth your time, just use Instacart.
