Learn the Japanese Kana alphabet (Hiragana & Katakana) with the MaRu app. To help you focus on the learning experience, the design is limited to the bare essentials.

Switch between Hiragana & Katakana with one tap on the Logo. You can look up the Kana-Tables and see everything you need in a clean structure. By clicking on a Kana-Symbol you will hear its correct pronunciation.

Start your learning journey by choosing the Kana-Groups you want to learn. You can also choose between different learning approaches (Memory & Drawing). You can draw the corresponding Kana-Character with your finger or pen to improve your muscle memory.

If you are ready for a challenge then you can test your knowledge in a quiz and master Hiragana & Katakana.
