So many issues
App is not relieable. Running on Foursquare for locations is antiquated and terrible. Use Yelp / Google or better user curation. Countless places aren't on here. Search is backwards and near impossible to search and save restaurants in areas where you are not currently. This app could be incredibly helpful and instead is frustrating. No web app after three years is also a joke. You're better off using Wunderlist since you can't easily copy and paste a place you read about on your laptop into this app.
Does just what it says - and that's absolutely perfect
I have dozens of restaurants that I like to frequent and I am always looking for places to potentially add to the list. I've tried to do this in Yelp, Urbanspoon, and others. I've even tried using maps and simply making lists in note apps. None has really worked all that well. One afternoon in this app and I have gotten a much better lists of restaurants to try and old favorites. We often go out spur of the moment and this app makes it simple to see what's nearby. If I pass an interesting looking restaurant I can quickly find it and add it to the list. It has just the right amount of functionality to make it useful.
Only two gripes - I wish I could filter by tags.
Also, I wish they had a similar app for events so that I could see recurring events I've enjoyed and are coming up. Too often we are busy and miss events we have enjoyed in the past. This developer understands how to make this sort of app usable. I wish they would apply that to events as well as restaurants...
so much unused potential, the home of all restaurant lists
Like many others before me, it was named that having a list that is easily sortable by location, taggable, with personal notes and key flag indicators (want to try, tried, loved) is invaluable. And it’s so simple, no frills, to the point - clean. Easy whip up of the phone since my friends and I can be super spur of the moment. I love to go over my memories with that app too. I see that there is definitely some dev activity goin on after 2 long years and I’m praying they continue to up so the GUI doesn’t look so pre-iOS 11 and the app itself can give inspiration outside of your circle or friends (ie other nearby/similar users like it used to) 😝 - i want to shake off the “it’s shutting down” feeling!!! I hate when my fav apps bite the dust.
