Love this app!

If you have HomeKit, this app is a must. Apple leaves most of their automation creation up to third parties and this is the only app I’ve found that works perfectly to connect them all into one app. The interface is minimal and pleasing to the eye.

Developer Response ,

Thank you very much for your feedback! We are trying very hard to simplify automation and connect you with all your systems.

I WANT to love this app but can’t bring myself to do that

This app has some pretty cool promise, but that’s really all it has, promise. One of the primary major flaws is that you can’t customize the buttons in any meaningful way. What you see in the screenshots is what you get - icon for icon, capability for capability.

And it doesn’t really even “control HomeKit” as promised. You click on lights and it simply takes you to the Home app to then find the light and do what you want to do.

What was finally the last nail in the coffin was, after many times of “trying to love this app” I started to really dig in and control my TV with that big TV button and the only apps that apply to me is Apple TV or Apple TV remote. Well, I don’t want the TV application, I wanted the remote, which exists perfectly on my iPad, but this application goes to the App Store and says that the application is not found. This leads me to believe that this app really isn’t maintained.

I give this two stars because it’s kind of a pretty app but its usefulness is almost nothing. Honestly there are already a ton of apps that allow you to not only customize the experience but also do the same hum-drum task of giving you shortcuts to your other apps - you know, kind of like a FOLDER does.

Now, if this gets to a point where I can customize the screen and have SIGNIFICANTLY more control over what the icons do then I’m all in for trying it again.

Developer Response ,

Please confirm you have allowed access to HomeKit, once done, the icons will control the HomeKit devices directly in each room.

Trading privacy for convenience

So I clicked on privacy policy and it goes to a link that says thanks for using the app she nothing else. By using this app, I give it access to EVERYTHING I own, from my car, to my security cameras, door locks, garage door, security system/alarm. HOW DO I KNOW ALL MY INFO IS PROTECTED? AND WHO DO YOU SHARE IT WITH? The app is genius, you guys basically created a different way to collect data. Data collection has only been utilized/monetized by tech companies and social media companies! But now apps like this can collect all of the data, that the internet/tech companies cannot. And with ZERO PRIVACY POLICY or agreement explaining third party data sharing and how you guys plan to sell My data? THE LITTLE PRIVACY YOU HAVE LEFT, IS THE PRIVACY THAT THE INTERNET AND YOUR PHONE CANNOT JUSTIFY COLLECTING&SELLING!! WITH THIS KIND OF APP, YOU GIVE AWAY THAT LAST LITTLE BIT YOU HAVE LEFT, FOR FREE.

Developer Response ,

Our private policy is not to collect data, and sharing is only done with the weather services.

We hope you enjoy the app, finding the mate. dashboard to be a useful tool to connect you with your home, and circadian rhythm!
