Welcome to Maum - the social discovery app for making new friends worldwide. Maum connects you to fun&deep communication with like-minded friends. With just a tap, you can start a FREE voice chat or text chat, with new friends from all over the world and nearby.
HOW TO USE
1) START TO SEARCH TALK-MATE: Choose between a voice or text chat, and start a conversation. Within seconds, you would be matched with someone randomly.
2) LIVE CONVERSATION: Talk to a REAL person via call or chat. Check out the other person's interests on the screen and make friends through fun conversations.
3) REAL-TIME TRANSLATION: Whether you're studying a language or don't know it well, this feature makes it easier to communicate.
We recently added in-call chat, so you can take advantage of translation while you're on a call!
4) FIND LIKE-MINDED FRIENDS: Find your talk-mates and friends on the ‘Moment’, ‘For you’, ‘New’, and ‘City’ pages. You can also get recommended friends every day with similar interests!
5) EXPRESS YOURSELF: Fill your profile page to show yourself to friends. Share your interests and start communication smoothly. You can also upload your feelings and thoughts on ‘Moment’ page, and share your daily photos on ‘Daily’ page.

Solid app, but
This app is pretty solid. I would definitely pay for it and use it but my question is why don’t you charge a subscription for unlimited messages and for all the features because the gems seemed a little overly priced like $50 for 2000 it would be nice if you could charge the same for six months and $20 per month it’s just crazy that you have to pay for everything to message somebody back to keep the rooms open. Please add a subscription and keep gems as an option for people who don’t want to pay for a subscription thanks 😊!
Overall pretty good!
I’m usually not the one to write reviews but this app is genuinely great! The only problem I have is the balloon system and the fact that matching has become really difficult ever since the age filter has been added. It could be a coincidence and may have nothing to do with that but it’s just an observation. But I’ve met a lot of nice people thru the app :)

Good app; however,
The application is so far really good and easy to use. The information are confidential as it says and they respect your choice. The only thing for me is the balloons. I think that it would be better to give enough balloons at the beginning for us to buy more after because we have no clue on how it works. We could enjoy conversations and decide after to buy more to continue. :))
