** Learn chess in a different way **
Now with subtitles.

Twenty to the point lessons take you from the absolute basics to more advanced strategic foundations of mastering a full game of chess. Follow the audio lesson on an animated board where the concepts are visualized for a better understanding.

After a lesson, dive into one of the nine training mini-games called skillbuilders, Each of them will help you improve specific cognitive skills, for seeing how pieces move or attack with ease. These unique exercises teach real and raw mental skills needed for chess mastery.

And to top it off – this is not a standard app. It is your own personal class with Maurice, coaching you Brooklyn style. Do well and you will be lauded – but watch out or you will be the target for street style trash talk.

** Features **
- 20 Lessons in 4 categories
- 9 skillbuilders with hundreds of levels
- over 100 puzzles
- play chess against an engine in three skill levels
- audio comments by Maurice tell you how you are doing

Chess player ,

This is the best chess app I’ve seen in years!

Drop everything and get this app, it is hands down the most fun you’ll ever have using a chess app. First of all, the skill builders are not only fast-paced action fun, they are completely original, you’ve never seen anything like these and - - they will turbocharge your chess. Once you play them and see how great they are you’ll be scratching your head wondering why in the world other chess platforms don’t use Maurice’s super training tools.
Maurice’s interactive reactions and the active feel of the app are a breath of fresh air, and it is smooth, perfectly responsive and snappy.

Get this app!

I got this right when I started playing and it really helped me to see the entire board. The puzzles are great and skill builders are unique to chess learning apps. They are challenging in all the best ways. I can’t recommend this app enough if you want to improve your chess.

Commentary audio

Just wanted to share that it took me several minutes to figure out why I couldn’t hear Maurice talking after the latest update. It seems strange that the update made the default setting to mute his commentary during the lessons. Without his commentary you can’t tell what’s going on. It also seemed to say it was set to subtitles, but I didn’t see any subtitles.

Otherwise I’ve greatly enjoyed learning from this app so far.
